Lebanon is a town in New London County, Connecticut, United States Dear Ted, Received your email with great surprise. I would be more than honored if you included my full name (Corey E. Bardsley) as discoverer/rescuer of "Country Road". Incidentally, the long white streaks on the bottom of the painting in my original email are caused by the flash from the camera and do not appear on the painting. I have attached three new pictures that may help you re-assess your original impressions. I am a coin collector which is why I go to garage and estate sales. Occasionally I find a few. Grading is important and this painting has all the hallmarks of being "mint state" in my limited knowledge of art. This is why I purchased it out of a green plastic storage bin - it just looked right. Best regards to you and your family, Corey |
