Mr. Kimball was born February 27, 1832 at Watertown New York the son of Joseph Kimball and Presendia Huntington. He married Mary McGiven on November 10, 1852, with whom he had three children George Henry, Joseph Frederick, and Charles Campbell. Joseph C. Kimball died on January 8, 1904 and was buried at Brookside Cemetery, section J, lot #6. Mr. Kimball was the publisher of the Watertown City Directory from 1864 until his death in 1904.
